VH-1 is getting ready for Fall with a few new shows that will heat up winter—since summer in New York was NOT THAT HOT (weather wise).  Check out what they have going on starting next week:

"Lords of the Revolution" Premieres Monday, August 10 at 8 PM ET/PT and continues through Friday, August 14.

About "Lords of the Revolution"

They were the leaders of the most significant cultural transformations of the 20th century. They trafficked in sex, drugs, music, and subversive politics. They held peaceful protests and violent insurrections. They challenged politics, social construction, and authority to lead a revolution that turned previous ideas of culture upside down.  From political heavyweights like the Black Panthers to cutting-edge cultural trendsetters like Andy Warhol’s Factory crew to Harvard professor turned psychedelic advisor Timothy Leary—they celebrated nonconformity and dared to be different during one of the most turbulent eras in recent history. VH1 Rock Docs premieres a new 5-part series “Lords of the Revolution” beginning on Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14 at 8 PM airing on VH1 and VH1 Classic.  Narrated by Richard Belzer, each hour-long episode of “Lords of the Revolution” celebrates the counterculture icons of the ‘60s and ‘70s – the legends who defied the social, political and cultural mores of their time.  Episodes include:

After the revolution, comes the love with…

“MY  ANTONIO”  PREMIERES SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 AT 10PM ET/PT

New VH1   series “My Antonio”   follows General Hospital soap star, former Calvin Klein model, and  notorious  bachelor Antonio Sabato Jr. on his search for true love. In  this 10-episode  series, thirteen beautiful women will be competing for  the affection of one of  the most desired men on the planet. This  real-life soap opera also has a  shocking plot twist when Antonio’s  ex-wife shows up, pleading for Antonio to  take her back. Antonio,  along with the help of his scrutinizing mother, will  attempt to find a  new leading lady to love by the end of this dramatic  journey

Season 2 of “Tool Academy” Premieres Monday, August 31, 2009 at 10:30 PM ET/PT. All Other Episodes Will Air at 10PM Monday Nights.

The “tools” are back! And this time around, the couples better watch out because these twelve unsuspecting men will be put to the test in completely new challenges ranging from a 10 week relationship boot camp to intense behavioral and communication challenges, with returning relationship counselor Trina Dolenz and host Jordan Murphy.
