Wall Street Justice: Madoff Prison Beat-down?
Bernard MadoffThis morning's Wall Street Journal has an article with considerable details, about an incident that three felons said took place, but officials at the Bureau of Prison denied happened, the "beat down," smacking around, punching, butt whipping, that notorious, crooked crook of the century, Bernard Madoff received last December, and was sent to a prison hospital, with a "broken nose, fractured ribs and cuts to his head and face at the hands ." The Journal presents the alleged attacker as some one wronged by the creep Madoff. Even points out that in prison Madoff "socialized with reputed Colombo crime-family boss Carmine Persico" --making it clear that the 71 year old bum doesn't deserve any sympathy. And the Journal tells the reader, that even though the Bureau of Prison said the butt whipping didn't happen, and Madoff apparently told the prison officials that he "suffered from dizziness and hypertension," and may have slipped and fallen, it happened. Madoff got his crooked fanny kicked. The Journal, with obvious relish points out that, "it's not uncommon for prisoners to deny being beaten because they don't want to risk a reputation as a snitch." -- So there readers, believe us -- Madoff got his ass whipped!
The only purpose for this article, it seems, to me, is that the Journal wants to assure its readers, some of whom may have lost millions of Madoff, that justice is being delivered.
Bernard Madoff is serving one hundred and fifty years in prison, convicted of swindling tens of billions of dollars from investors.
